WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE AT THE HARBOR
We believe that "Every word of God is flawless..." [Proverbs 30:5] We believe in God who exists in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, the son of God, became flesh and shed his blood on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ. If you would like to know more about this life-changing love story, please reach out to us!
I'M NEW IN MY FAITH, IS THAT OKAY?
We are thrilled that you are here! We will all study the Bible and learn about God's love for us, together. We are so excited to be walking alongside you in your relationship with the Lord. We pray that God uses The Harbor to bless you in your relationship with Him.
WHAT DO I NEED IN ORDER TO ATTEND?
We just need you! Our Zoom studies don't use any type of study guide or special commentary. As we study the Bible chronologically, each week we'll dig deep into a few chapters of the Bible.
DO I HAVE TO ATTEND EVERY WEEK?
Not at all! We all experience seasons of busyness. Come as you are and come when you can. Even if you haven't had a chance to read, please join us! When you do miss a study, make sure to check our our "Discovery Cove"! You'll find study notes, Biblical resources, and study tools to help keep you up to speed.
ARE THE ZOOM BIBLE STUDIES RECORDED?
No. Due to the deep conversations and safe, confidential nature of our discussions, they are not recorded.
WHAT IS BRANCH & VINE NIGHT?
Fellowship is an important part of our walk with Christ and we want to make sure we set aside special nights to do so. We take a break from our regularly scheduled Chronological Bible study and focus on a discussion topic. We will also play games on Zoom, get to know one another, and simply spend time in community with each other.
MAY I INVITE A FRIEND?
Absolutely! And please do. The Bible says we are called to be "Fishers of Men"; sharing The Harbor with others is the beginning of just that! The more people we can share the gospel with, the better!
